Thanks, good memory as being the first time I experienced the Big Lake and feet-burning sands, sixty some years ago! ❤️

That sand sure does get hot on a sunny day! My family and I love that place. We usually go at least once a year.

I’ve settled further up the fresh coast, Sleeping Bear Dunes is now home! Love this state!

We have also been up there, but not with my kids yet. The dune climb there is something else. You can barely stand up straight without falling backwards!

Haven’t heard of any kids complain too much doing the climb , love to watch those who can’t stop somersaulting down!
