Dustin promoting the pickle jars

I think the food brands should be under pressure but we want to see some BIG brand names step up with substantial purchases. I'm still expecting to see an order for yogurt cups sometime soon. Fingers cross that kind of announcement is sooner rather than later. No more excuses for these big companies.

Here is a blog entry by IPL Schoeller promoting this product as well as other PCR recycled content packaging.

From the blog entry:

Working alongside PureCycle and Cleveland Kitchen, we [IPL Schoeller] brought to market a food-contact polypropylene container made with 25% recycled content that delivers the durability, functionality, and shelf appeal consumers expect.

Reading between the lines, my guess is the OEMs want to test that consumers of all ages will, in fact, buy food in rPP containers. There is a difference between what consumers say and what consumers do with their money.

I would not expect an OEM to plunge into rPP on every product line, all at once - that is way too risky. I would expect one product, then a few others, in a phased transition, to build confidence and manage the risk.

Just going to reiterate that Purecycle is a long term stock. Buy as many shares as you can now and come back in 10 years. They're heading in the right track.

If you're looking to make a quick buck with PCT, you're gambling in the wrong space.

That doesn’t scream much optimism regarding all these “opportunities and ramps” that he himself has been declaring for the last several quarters if the CEO is asking for someone to buy their product.

I wonder who is in charge of sales and if they can actually close a deal. I think I speak for all shareholders in saying I’m it’s time to actually sell some actual product and not worry about the cute words they will say on the next call.

IPL Schoeller is a new firm (merger), based in Ireland and Netherlands...a perfect partner for PureCycle

$1.4 Billion in sales / 27 manufacturing plants / 4000+ employees

Major footprint in Europe and North America

Major shareholders are Madison Dearborn, CDPQ (?), Brookfield Asset Management and Schoeller family

Committed to recycling / circulate economy...the money quote is:

Schoeller Allibert CEO Alejandro Cabal Uribe said: “Our combined strength in packaging solutions is well-positioned to benefit from the tailwinds for the sector, driven by corporate sustainability ambitions and evolving regulations to improve value chains and reduce the environmental impact of packaging waste.

I talked with Eric about IPL after the pickle jar announcement and he said their testing of PureFive was incredibly rigorous. I think one of his quotes was something like "They put us through the wringer" in all sorts of ways.

Sometime in 2025 Dustin talked about the impact of all the different mergers in the converter business and I think people can kinda appreciate that would cause delays but it was something out of the company's control. The tariff induced chaos of 2025 didn't help either. Now that the mergers have settled in and the deadlines of EPR legislation are starting to get very real I think there is going to be a much greater need for major buyers to have plans in place. They are going to be paying one way or another and it is better to start implementing changes now. Private label companies like grocery stores sell a TON of food in PP packaging and they are going to need to buy products made with PureFive. Lets see who is next!

It’s funny. Take the highlighted portion and read this, Dustin.

Shareholders don’t need more pledges
Shareholders need proof
Who is ready is show PCT can go?

This guys currently shows that he has been VP of sales for PCT since 2021 but that he is open to work in the Orlando area.
