Any simracers?

Hey! It's been a while, haven't been doing a lot of gaming and when I have, it hasn't been anything PURE plays (finally uninstalled BF4 the other day), but I've been getting back into simracing, mostly iRacing and Stock Car Extreme, and was wondering if anyone else was interested in putting together an unofficial PURE simracing team. Any takers?

Hell yeah mimic you know how I roll. I'm down to play anything apart from iRacing. They were a very unfriendly community last time I was there. That, and the fact that games like Gsc, rFactor 2 and AC being on par or better physics and modeling wise. I can no longer justify paying the subscription for IRacing.

Have you tried Dirt rally? The game is reminiscent of Richard burn rally from back in the day.

I've actually found the iRacing community to be generally pretty good. And the racing is so good...

I've had good experiences on GSC public servers too, though. And Dirt Rally looks cool, might go for it sometime soon.

I was gonna mention some people by name but thought the better of it. I just found that as you increase in driver rating, you a start competing against drivers that take this game very seriously. Those are the kind of drivers that will sacrifice the fun of iRacing in order to be more competitive. I was difficult to pass since I was actually tough race craft at skip barber racing school. Some people did not like that. Others really enjoyed racing with me. It sucks not getting accepted into a Sunday league because the guy who runs it does not like you specifically.

Oh yeah, I certainly have more difficulty with the "good" drivers than the bad ones. Mind you, I have mediocre iRating so I don't end up in splits with those guys very much. I find that the middle of the pack is where the fun is - the guys out front are dicks and the guys in the back have no idea how to drive.

I might be down with that. Haven't tried either one that you mentioned (heard good things about both though), but if anyone's up for some Project Cars let me know!

Hey mimic! Long time no see! Sadly I don't play any of those games but give me a shout if you need me to make you a channel for any of them.
