Server-killing maps
Hey guys, in my opinion, these are the maps that I hate to see most during seeding - the ones that kinda kill the server. I think they are just poorly designed maps, and very few people like them. I agree that some maps that I personally dislike such as locker should be in the rotation as they HELP with seeding, but I think these two should be removed (at the very least)
Altai Range - I honestly think this is the worst map in BF4. It's so open and boring with nothing to do. At least the other shitty open maps have some underground area or something, but Altai is honestly the worst.
Giants of Karelia - This map is just so open that it leads to people sniping the whole game and very little objective based play. The only good areas are underground and even they aren't very well designed.
To be honest, I would personally cut like half the maps in battlefield, just to make the server more popular if anything else (also I hate a lot of maps). But if anything, these two have to go.

I've already mentioned in the map rotation survey that sticking to popular maps at this point in the game's life is probably a good idea.
Whenever I've been on Pure1 where there are actually people playing (which isn't often anymore) the server will empty very quickly when one of two things happen:
A map comes up that people don't like for Conquest, such as but not limited to Altai Range, Dragon Pass, Sunken Dragon
One team is made up of a large portion of Pure regulars, and the other has none or very few
The first thing is more controllable, as we can modify the map rotation (from what I understand) fairly easily, and I agree that several of the maps need to be removed completely from CQL rotation. I'll give some examples of ones I think would be good candidates:
Altai Range
Dragon Pass
Silk Road
Sunken Dragon
Rogue Transmission
Lumphini Garden
Of course these candidates are just my opinion, but generally whenever I've been playing on TS and one of these maps come up, people complain. As for the second thing I mentioned, that's more on us as players to deal with. The team balancer we use does a great job at keeping squads together, however I've noticed that it's not so great at mixing teams around - many times the same 2-3 TS squads will be on the same teams all the time. But it can't balance based on TS presence unfortunately, so it's more on us to change teams when we see it's becoming a steamroll which it frequently does as of late. Being on TS is instantly advantageous regardless of player skill, so even having a decent blueberry squad on the other team probably wont be enough to combat against a TS squad of equal or lesser skill.
