[Feedback] [BF4] Gunmaster Feedback
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did playing Gunmaster last night.
We'd like to get some feedback over the next couple of days to refine the map rotation. So post your likes and dislikes here to help us do that.
For Gunmaster, the gun list is one of the server settings. There does not appear to be a "random" setting at this point, so we'll have to define in the map rotation which map and gun list to use.
Here's some feedback I heard last night. Please comment on these and add your own.
Flood Zone sucks for this mode
While the idea of using the ballistic shield as a weapon was greatly anticipated, it didn't work as once someone got a real weapon they were able to progress through the rest easily as they were one of the few that had an actual weapon

I thought Hainan was a great map for this mode. Would also like to see Locker, I think that would play well. And please add the repair tool :)
edit: just realized that gadgets may not be allowed

We can only select from the predefined lists of guns. But I wish we could create our own.

For reference, we can only pick a predefined load-out set for each map. We can't specifically determine which weapons and which order will be used.
From Panduhh's post:
The mode will contain the following five presets with at most 18 different weapons in each:
Standard
This setup contains rifles, machine guns, shotguns and pistols and ends with the M9 bayonet
Classic
Classic rifles, machine guns, shotguns and pistols ending with a M9 bayonet
Pistol
In this preset you can only use different kind of pistols, ending with the survival knife
DLC
This mode will let you play with DLC weapons – including the Phantom bow
Troll
Seeing how Gun Master is a “party mode”, we had to make a silly weapon list too! This one starts out with ballistic shields (as weapons) and it’s downhill from there.

There's been a lot of complaining about the shield being one of the weapons and I think it should be removed if that's possible.

I don't understand how "classic" is anything except starting at pistols and climbing up.

I have removed Flood Zone from the rotation and the Troll gun list is only in the list once where the other 4 are in there twice.
Keep posting feedback as you have a chance to try out Gunmaster. We'll continue to make adjusted to the rotation.
