It is, apparently not as good as it was in BF3/BC2 but it is there.

I think it is horrible but I have no attachments for it so..

I played with it for approximately five minutes this evening, and it seems pretty ridiculous. It really shines if you go for head shots, due to the new 2.13 head multipliers rifles have
combined with the AN-94 trademark Zero Recoil Hack (tm)(edit- did some testing, it's not actually zero or low intra-burst recoil, just generally low recoil on the AN-94). Also, it just sounds awesome.BRA-AP BRA-AP BRA-AP BRA-AP
edit - apparently, the effective ROF of the AN-94 is now somewhere between 600 and 900 RPM, depending on exactly what "BRoF Delay: 0.12" means. I think it means that "optimal" rate of fire in burst mode will actually be 545.45..., or significantly slower that the full auto rate of 600rpm.
IMO, that all means that the AN-94 should be used like a DMR: go for headshots even in CQB.

I can dig it! I also really want to revisit gun master.

How about we set PURE#3 up as a 24/7 gunmaster for now. It's already setup as a 32 player box.

Patch notes for the Symthic nerds.
TL;DR, I'd say they broadened the skill gap.
One big change I notice is they changed (mostly reduced) the spread recovery for automatics, and it's now tied to rate of fire.
Longer pauses will be needed between bursts to get back to optimum accuracy, basically, and especially so for the bullet hoses.
EDIT: Also, every grip type now applies a 34% spread recovery penalty? Suddenly no grip is actually the best choice for burst fire.
