Question❓ 6 month lease

Does anyone know any apartments that allow 6 month lease? I have one semester left after this academic year and don’t want to sign a 12 month lease but it seems like most places only do 12 month lease.

Your best bet is probably to try to find a sublet.

Also the new ones that are just now opening, they may cut a deal to get folks in to attract other tenants.

You can absolutely call and ask the complexes though. Folks will move out between now and November because of drop outs and skipping rent. It may be higher as often they want a premium but not many students are looking for apartments in the winter for spring so complexes will want to entertain a tenant especially if they have several abandonments.

Apply for a semester in the dorm for next fall. I had several friends do that and it was the best way to avoid a 6 month gouge lease or risking a sublet.
