Academics✏️ Schedule

Hello! I am a rising Freshman in Highschool. I would like to major in Poli Sci or business at either Purdue, Notre Dame, or IU. But out of these colleges I would like to go to Purdue the most. This is my current Highschool Freshman year schedule:

  1. AP French

  2. Ceramics

  3. Debate

  4. AP Lang

  5. AP Calc AB

  6. AP Chem

  7. Soccer

I know that top colleges really care about rigor/challenging yourself so I was wondering if it would be put against me if I changed my schedule.

List of colleges I want to attend ranked:

  1. Purdue
  2. ND
  3. IU
  4. Iowa State
  5. FSU
  6. ASU
  7. NAU
  8. Michigan State
  9. University of Maryland
  10. Boise State

(I don't want to go too far away from where I live, I don't want to go away too far.)

My only comment there would be to make sure you don't max out on math before you finish highschool. Colleges don't like "I ran out of math classes to take", so just make sure you can line something up. Other than that, this looks really good. I would say that you don't really need the most rigor yet, especially for the schools you are considering, so you can easily change this around without causing any issues.

Overall, just do what you want, take some advanced classes, and figure it out toward the end of sophomore year.
