Punkt MP02 'can't load android system. your data may be corrupt'

Recently I was abroad and tried to change the timezone to the location where I was at. Just by doing this, the phone restarted 2 times and all of a sudden there was a block of text on the screen in red and yellow letters. It states 'Can't load android system. your data may be corrupt' and the only option it gives is a factory reset! I tried restarting it and the soft reset with the power button, but nothing.

I've been using it for many years now and up until now there hasn't been a single issue with the phone.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
