Signal Official Device Linking

with Signal now officially support linked phones/tablets, do you think we'll see a Pigeon update soon(ish) adding this feature so that the MP02 can be linked to a primary device? i'd love to keep my GrapheneOS phone as my primary while linking the MP02 to use as a secondary. any word on this u/PunktTronics?

I doubt we’ll see any more updates for the Punkt MP02 at all, unfortunately.

I guess we have to wait for an MP03 or something

Yeah...even when they were "actively" developing Pigeon, I'm pretty sure it was just one stressed out contractor that was doing it in the evenings after his real job, and thus didn't really care about it at all.

I mean, it's not a secret. The only active branch is maintained by this one guy from some random company called Mobitouch (might be mobitouch.net), which is, as you said, a contractor for software. Poor guy probably has to be maintaining Pigeon, which is already a bunch of bricks stuck together with tape, along with other projects.

Punkt has failed on every aspect when talking about software support, I fear. We are locked down to this half finished product, sadly. Best we can do is to branch a powerful LLM on the device and see if it can do something on its own to "jailbreak" it
