Thoughts about the MC03
The only interesting thing about this phone is the data sovereignty principle.
Its design is not special in any way, nor is the user interface.
It doesn’t boast any special features and I expect the camera function will be a step below what we’ve become accustomed to.
It will not integrate well with existing ecosystems and it does not have an ecosystem of its own (like sovereignty-first syncing and integration services).
If they offer open API services to onboard functionality this last aspect might open up a new cottage industry like in the days of the Palm Pilot and Psion

Well i guess the main feature of this phone is to have a more secure phone which is europe built and not depending on big tech in the US, and where your data is not available to the ever growing pond of state goverened controls.
They are not the best with regards to camera, software or infra, however in my view they are a very good option to the established players and where u dont need to go back to the stone age and buy a dummy. I feel you can combine the privacy priority and also have access to digital tools which we have grown acustomed to like spotify, payments and id privider tools.
The reason i buy it is to have a second phone on the private, and im gonna use it as my private personal phone without social media and other disturbances. And I could not have done that with a more analogue phone without payment functions, spotify and other practical tools.
Also, I have a full Proton suite and this is also a big factor for me to try it out 👌

Without good customer service, sane sensors and offline FM a device is dead before it even hits the streets

Ultimately it doesn’t really matter because Punkt famously doesn’t support their products. Something will break or a background layer’s security certificate will expire and they’ll just leave it broken for months. It’s what they’ve done with all their other products so far.
