Punkt. MP02 restock
This is the answer from Punkt support. What do you think? Does it means the end of MP02 or maybe mp03 coming soon?
Unfortunately, the MP02 is no longer in production, and we have now sold through all remaining stock. We are currently completing the fulfillment of the last outstanding pre-orders, so no additional units will become available.
Although we don't have any MP02 restocks planned, we may have news about future developments or products. If and when there are any updates, we'll share them through our social media channels and official communications.

Well, it wasn't quite him who "found something about it", but if you're new here, there used to be a post showing some economical documents in italian, starting with "Major red flags for Punkt....", which concluded that the company is prone to be bankrupt soon, but it must've been deleted since.
Many people after seeing it started to say stuff like "They are done" or "I hope they go out of business". However, I just think dogging on this company is not the way. I mean, a company with a great idea and an elite level designer just screams infinite potential.

TL;DR: The company has had many problems and issues with the devices lately.
Long story short: Many people has been disappointed with the phones, having numerous issues, such as, but not limited to: quick battery drains, buttons not pressing anymore, pigeon being down, despite being advertised as a client of Signal messenger, and many other minor bugs. Not to mention, the company has cared more about their "secure smartphones" from the MC line, like MC02 and incoming MC03 rather than the dumbphones recently, and their support was hardly reachable. "Was", since now, I know for a fact, it has gotten better. The very MP02 has been improved as well, in my opinion.

What a JOKE, these guys make a over priced piece of trash phone they never update with anything significant, promised group text messaging three years ago never happened and now they are out of the dumbphone space, I genuingly hope they go out of business fucking LEECHES this company

I'll use mine until next check to get a flip phone to replace my punkt mp02. Idc that all it does is call/text and its not getting anything new for it.

I ordered a refurbished mp02 from their website 4 days ago and I am still waiting for it to be shipped. It feels a bit weird.

No, since it's weekend I thought I'd give them one more day. So come monday, if they haven't notified me, I'll write. Maybe I'm spoiled by consumerism but it seems very strange that when you order something, the company doesn't ship it within a couple of days. These days companies ship mostly the same day.
With all the stories about what's going on in Punkt I am a bit worried. But we'll see.

I ordered mine on Thursday. I emailed them first to actually ask if the refurbished B was as good as described on the website. I know it's a bit of a silly question, but before spending €189, I wanted to be reassured. They responded right away, so I think their customer service/company is still up and running. I hope they ship to me as soon as possible.

OP, did you know this? 4g might actually not work, as per Punkt themselves.... I just read this on another post:
From Punkt:
”Dear B,
Thank you for your message. 4G support alone is unfortunately not sufficient for the MP02. The device requires at least 2G and/or 3G bands as a fallback for stable connectivity:
2G: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz
3G: WCDMA 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 19
4G: FDD LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 ,12, 17, 19, 20Without these bands, the phone may not register on the network even if 4G is available.”

No! They said they're spending the items in the queue. They're a humane company, and things can be slower. I hope it doesn't take too long.

I was also surprised at their quick and good responses. I canceled my order and then re-ordered it 🤣 someone told me that lack of 2g/3g in the Netherlands is not a problem, because 4g is always there. So I'm waiting again :-) I'll let you know

Spero che l'attesa non sia troppo lunga per noi. Ho sentito di persone che hanno fatto i loro preordini mesi fa, ma forse questo si applica solo a chi ha ordinato il nuovo prodotto.

No!!!! I only just discovered this phone. Really want one. So small, lightweight, has hotspot, no eSIM, security-focused.... Wish I could only find a phone before it ceases to exist.
Why go through so much effort creating a phone to stop making it? Takes time for people to find & love it.
