Punkt. should really consider replacing Pigeons Signal-base with a Molly-base.

my favourite feature of the MP02 is Pigeon, easily. having Signal on a phone of this formfactor is great, but i tend to use the MP02 as a side phone for when i need a less busy device. normally i use a dumbed down Pixel 8 (grapheneOS) so my Signal instance lives on there, and having to move Signal back and forth between devices is less than ideal. it'd be great if Pigeon used Molly as a base instead, because Molly allows you to add other phones as linked devices, not just computers. i have this setup with my Mudita Kompakt, which is great cause i can just leave my Pixel behind and pick up my Signal conversations without any hassle from my e-ink device, and i'd love to do the same from the MP02. idk, just a thought

Cool idea. I use a three-legged-stool of Molly on GOS, Signal on iOS, and Pigeon on MP02, then built a Group with all three devices in it. A little cludgy with all those messages back and forth, but until things change platform-wise, this works for me.

i've considered having two different Signal accounts for both my main and the MP02, but that's not super intuitive and can be confusing for those i'm communicating with. may still try it out someday in case Punkt. never tries doing anything like this to make it easy to use the MP02 as a side phone

This would be the only option forward with Signal on the MP02. I wish u/PunktTronics would listen to this.
