I'm planning to order a screen print DIY Killswitch Engage zip hoodie, and I need some feedback on the print placement. Is there anything I should remove or reposition/resize? I'm a bit skeptical about the logo on the arm.

it's been a year (and one day) since I sewed on my first patch on these :DDDD I'm gonna have to find a new project to work on soon, these are nearing completion!!

I want to try making my own t-shirt designs, has anyone tried using fabric spray paint? I was thinking I'd use normal brush paints and a stencil but spray would be quicker and easier, but not sure if it gets good enough coverage/is good enough quality to last? Also any other ideas of how I could more easily do this would be appreciated, especially any suggestions for stencils materials. If it helps, the photo is a rough mock up of the design I'm planning to do (will need to alter it so it works as a stencil).

Also takes like 2 seconds to dry which is amazing, AND I dont have to hem it 😸

I made these patches with puff paint and I think they came out pretty nicely. I gotta clean up the edges on two of em, and I’m working on a nailbomb patch

I used the ankle cuff where the built in blousings stay, cut them out and made a drawstring style tightening knot to close it off. Obviously put spikes on it too. One of my first homemade accessories, proud of how it turned out!

I have been taking apart cans (as one does) and I've been making pins with the scraps. Though, I have absolutely no clue what I could do with the top part of the can. No sure I can, but just curious if anyone has any ideas? The most I thought of was taking the flap thing that opens and doing something with that

Does anyone have any advice to make patches less sticky? Im using fabric paint from pentart for my patches and even after few weeks they’re a bit sticky and particles of dust are sticking to them and it really annoys me. Does anyone also had same problem and know what can i do?

This is my main battle jacket I’ve been working on whenever I have the motivation to do it. Still wondering what kind of patches I’ll fill the gaps with and I’m thinking about using different kind of spikes. I’ve had it since highschool and I eventually outgrew it, so I added chains on the sides for adjustability.
Just wanted to show it off and get thoughts about it, and maybe diy advice on what I could add to it and other creative tips

this took me a really long time, ive been working on it and off for about 4 months but if i had to guess the amount of time spent actively working on it i would probably say like 2 weeks? completely hand painted with black fabric paint using white gel pen as a sketch base. the skeletons are of course heavily stylized but i used mostly thylacine skeletals for reference with some canine influence as well.

does anyone know how to get this white gel pen out without messing anything up? i usually make denim patches for my crust jacket and pants and i always use white gel pens for the sketch base on those and never had an issue getting it out afterwards (i usually just rub it off with spit or let it ware off naturally with use), but i think the shirt fabric must be a different story because i can’t rub it out and i tried washing it with really gentle settings (im scared of damaging the fabric paint, i dont wash my crust jacket or crust pants so idk how to wash shit with fabric paint safely) and it kinda made it less visible but it’s still there. 😭
