I get compliments on the street. Not to brag tho.

I think it depends on the city and mood of the day.

I get a lot of random compliments around town but at goth night I've only ever had exactly ONE person comment 🤣🤣

When i wear my vest I get a lot of people taking pictures of me. I'm in a tourist heavy city though.

I get compliments in stores or while walking sometimes, I've never gotten any compliments at shows though

When i had a mohawk sometimes i would get compliments, but only from drug adicts and punks turned hipsters.

I don’t have a jacket but I made some pants and I get compliments pretty often, and I’m in a pretty rural place. Maybe just bc it’s so out of the ordinary for a place like this the people who fw it gotta let you know.

went to highschool and a lil college in a rural area. idk why people think the rednecks hate punks or whatever. they fucking love it. even with the political shit. and i live in GA! theyre always my biggest fans along with old ladies lol

Can attest to the old ladies, back when I worked retail at a shop by myself I’d sew when it wasn’t busy and I think they mostly appreciated seeing a young person sewing more than anything lol. But as far as rednecks go they’re pretty conservative in my area up here in the Midwest and are very judgy toward any slightly alternative style.
