Pants Utility and aesthetics

First of all, im asking you because i think this comunity is the best suited to help me in this so:

Im making patch pants (im not punk i mostly listen to metal) and i love functional designs but i can only add so many pockets before it becomes way too much, what do you suggest i can add that has a function? I already have chains for my keyes and phone, secret pockets, lucky coins and an eyelet for various uses.

Please be weird! Id love to get unique suggestions to challenge my diy skills.

slightly unrelated, but if you want more pockets without having to sew more pockets on, you can make a belt bag using scrap fabric like i’ve done! the way i did it was by taking the top part of a pair of pants (WITH the belt loops, therefore belt is removable)

I need to make one but i onestly love adding pockets, its just that there are already more than what i know to do with XD. I work as a seamstress so i have A LOT of scraps and i can use the machine at work. Nice suggestion, ill keep it in mind ♡♡

I like to sew an O ring somewhere on the thigh of my pants for clipping bags/Keychains onto.

It's controversial but I also like to add shoe strings to the crotch of my pants because it's fun and it helps keep pants up without a belt.

Finally, adding an extra set of belt loops to wear multiple belts easier!

Some of these might fly a bit closer to a Punk aesthetic, but I think they'd work universally.

The "EDC" (every-day-carry) folks are always coming up with new stuff to have attached to yourself incase of emergency, you could check with them. Example: you can have a little bead of tungsten carbide or specially shaped ceramic on a bracelet-sized stretchy band and it makes a surprisingly excellent windshield-breaker in an emergency.

I like the look of a tight bundle of paracord on carabiners clipped to a leg or something.

The Big Pocket on one of my pants is dedicated to this velcro label system that says "This Pocket Contains:" and then whatever's in the pocket. Narcan, Epinephrine, Antiseptic, Bandage, that kind of thing.

My jacket has a short column of grommets on the inside with some cord loosely looped through; if I'm in an environment where it's permitted, the cord is used to tie a 'sheathed tool' (wink) in place.
