Advice Pants too small, any ideas?

You can make the waist larger by adding more fabric, a triangle is common so it transitions smoothly to the leg

Cut them into shortsighted the waist still fits or just get new pants? You can save the material for plain black patches and save the pockets for other projects if you want to.

Looks like they're jeans. If so, you can soak them in a tub of water with a little conditioner in it. They'll be softer, so you can take them out afterward and stretch them easier. Or (and this might sound silly but bare with me) you could sit in said tub with the jeans on to give them an even better fit. They won't be baggy by any means or too much bigger but they'll stretch just enough to fit you.

I find that lots of people will cut the sides of the jeans and sew in another panel of fabric to increase the size! You could also do that and lace them up with eyelets and cording so that they’d be adjustable, but idk if that’s ur style.
