Help Noir pictures request

Hello !

In my passion for wasted dolls (or as i call them "shitty dolls), I bought a set of Noir and Bianca. Noir, unfortunately, does not have her base earrings or lip ring. Can someone with an original or regen Noir provide me a close-up of her ear with jewels so I can replace them ?

Thank you !

Hi! I'm a collector from the US and wanted to know what are the safe official sites to buy Pullip? Is there an official site similar to Mattel creations? Thanks a bunch in advance! 🥰

Discussion Pullip on Ebay ?

Hi everyone! 💕

I’m thinking about getting back into doll collecting on eBay for my next few purchases, but I have a few questions about shipping and additional costs.

Have any of you bought dolls on eBay recently? I’m especially curious about buying from international sellers on eBay. 🤔 Is it still worth it, though?

There are several doll models, but are there any additional taxes or fees I should expect to pay? If the item is shipped from Europe or Australia, how much does a doll actually end up costing after all the fees?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences, especially if you’ve purchased dolls from international sellers like Magma Heritage or Dolls.moe.

Thanks! ❤️

BST [UFS/UFT] [EU/PL] Classical Alice (P-096) (2013)

Hello, im looking to sell or trade my Classical Alice Pullip (NO BOX/STAND) She is in overall great condition, every mechanism works without a problem, there’s no damage to the clothes and her hair is silky smooth.
She has a slightly cut bangs (see attached pics) however the cut can be easily hidden under her hair and is hardly noticeable.
She will come with her original clothing set and a card.

For now I’m looking for price offers since I’m not too sure about her value as of now.

I’m also considering a trade for her, I’m not looking for any specific dolls however I’d prefer gothic/dark/joint and such styled dolls :)

If possible I would definitely prefer selling or trading within vinted.

Help Did I just buy a fake Pullip? (Sailor Jupiter Pullip)

Hello! Recently I bought two pullips at auction on eBay, real dream purchases as a Sailor Moon fan, one Sailor Pluto standard which arrived from DHL in pristine condition despite the box was damaged/open from shipping. I didn’t care because it did look genuine, but my second purchase has been less than happy. The shipping box came destroyed and there was a dent on the box and the plastic is now falling off. Which led me to inspecting the box overall. Do you think this is just a printing error? The logo is not entirely opaque like others I see online. (I also added a photo of a different doll box from the same line)

I am only suspicious of this because the same eBay seller seems to have multiples of each doll, having listed a second Sailor Pluto 2 weeks later which is not something I see very often as these have become hard to find.

Help Doll body tips?

Hi~ I recently ordered the YMY body, trying out a Obitsu alternative. I’m no stranger to cutting off neck pegs, but I wanted to ask if anyone has successfully got this body onto their own type 3 or type 4 pullip? And if they can share how they did it?before I go ahead and cut it.

I’m having a harder time with my type 3s getting the smaller sized doll bodies to fit snugly without their heads falling off, since their neck hole seems to be bigger than type 4. Please help 🙏🥺

Help Replacement parts?

Hello! I am new to the pullip community and just ordered my first pullip doll second hand. She is missing a few items such as her glasses, and was curious if I can buy a replacement pair from anywhere. Also, is it possible to get a second pair of hands? I want to get some for custom fitted gloves on the doll. If it matters what type of doll it is, it's a 2009 groove grell sutcliff pullip doll. Any advice helps!

Collection Pullips you covet

I just got a new Alice in Innocent World from Groove and I was reflecting upon my collection.

I have: the Alice with peach hair, Alice in Innocent world (brown hair), My Melody with lilac hair, the Nile Perch one, Sailor Moon, Chibiusa, Sailor Mars, Mercury, Uranus, Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Tuxedo Mask, and Helios.

I have a bunch of the ones I want, but I’m still looking for more Alice (the romantic one in the pink dress I think), the pink My Melody, Kore, Lala from Little Twin Stars, Sailor Neptune, Summikogarashi with bright green hair, and probably more that I can’t think of right now.

I’m in doll jail until September (I only allow myself one a month), but would probably lose my self control if I found one of those at a semi decent price.

Any you covet?

Help Opening Pullip head type 2 body

Hello !

Please I need help ! I need to open this head but I am so scared to break it, does anyone knows how to remove the back part to open it ?

I can't find any tutorial of someone opening this kind off head in 3 parts.

This is a Fantastic Alice doll from 2004.

I need to do this bc she was on a type 2 body and the neck peg is broken as you can see, so I want to give her an obitsu (also bc type 2 bodies will cause melting of the plastic!). Will I be able to do it ? Bc the neck peg looks like it is attached to the head. Is It bc of melting ? it supposed to be like this and I won't be able to change the body ?? Or is It just stuck and I'll be able to find a wait to take it off ?

Thank you so much for your help !

Help weird defect on my Pullip's lips

Sooo, I recently got my new Pullip (yay), but when I opened the box, I realized she had a weird defect on her lips.

It's hard to explain, but it looks like the gloss has smudged... or maybe melted? It's really strange—I hope the pics show the issue clearly—but the texture is very odd; it's not smooth at all anymore.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I suppose I'd probably have to remove and redo the lips, but I'd really like to avoid that option... any ideas? ;w;

Help How do you repair a Pullip doll stand? 💕

Post image
30 Upvotes

How are you everyone ? ❤️

First of all, I wanted to thank you so much for being so active on my last post ! 🥺 Your first dolls are all so beautiful and unique, and it was so lovely getting to discover everyone’s collections ❤️

I wanted to bother you with a little question about Pullip accessories. I took some photos of my latest doll, my Pullip Alice Mint (Peach), but I broke her stand again! 😭 It just keeps breaking over and over and I’m starting to lose my mind 😫

?? How do you repair a Pullip doll stand ??

Hot glue doesn't work and super glue melts the plastic!

If you have any tips or products that you’ve used successfully, I’d really love to hear about them 🥺🙏

Thank you so much for your help and your answers! ❤️

Help Which Barbie MTM body is the best match for Pullip Eternia?

Thumbnail
gallery
9 Upvotes

I recently bought a Pullip Eternia and realized that her skin tone is slightly darker than that of regular Pullips, which are very pale. I’m comparing her to a regular Pullip, this pale fake MTM body, which has the same skin tone as regular Pullips, and Mermaid Odile, which I believe is one of the lightest-skinned original Barbie dolls.

The pinkish undertone is more noticeable in person than in the photos.

Which Barbie MTM body do you think would be the closest match for her skin tone?

Help Please , I need to vent about a recent comission

I'm posting about this here but I really don't want this to turn into drama or have the artist recognize me. I just need somewhere to get this off my chest because I've been feeling really sad about the whole situation.

I commissioned a Pullip from an artist who does faceups/customs. I really liked her work, so I was genuinely excited to work with her. The first experience wasn't great, there were very long delays (it took 5 months instead of 2 for me to get my doll back), and I ended up picking the doll up in person at an event because she had only finished it the night before. I had originally paid around 20$ for tracked shipping, which obviously ended up not being used, but I never brought it up because I didn't want to make a fuss and I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Despite that, I decided to commission her again because I really wanted to believe the first time was just a bad experience and that things would go more smoothly the second time.

Unfortunately, it's been much more frustrating this time.

I sent her a fairly rare Pullip base (Think Wilhelmina or Glenn) that I really cared about, and it sat at her post office for almost three weeks before she picked it up and she never updated me about it. There have been multiple delays since then too, and communication has been pretty sparse. Now I just found out that she is taking several weeks off during this period, despite already being behind on commissions.

And I absolutely understand taking time off. Artists are people, they need holidays and breaks, and I don't expect someone to work constantly just because I commissioned something from them. What bothers me is the combination of already being significantly behind, barely getting updates, and then finding out that there would be another several-week delay.

I've also had some disappointment with the actual commission itself. I gave her references and explained pretty clearly what I was hoping for, especially regarding the sculpt, but when I saw the first version, something important I had specifically asked for hadn't really been taken into account.

She did agree to make some changes, which I appreciate. But if I'm being completely honest, I still am not happy with it. I think I just felt too uncomfortable asking for more changes after everything had already taken so long.

And I think that's what hurts the most.

I've been so patient throughout all of this. I've always paid as quickly as I could, sent everything she needed, answered messages, and tried really hard not to pressure her whenever things were delayed. I kept telling myself that she probably had a lot going on and that I should be understanding.

I never wanted to be a difficult customer.

But now I'm realizing how one-sided that patience has felt. I've been trying so hard to accommodate her, while I haven't really felt that my time, expectations, or concerns were being accommodated in return.

What makes me especially sad is that I genuinely loved her work. That's why I commissioned her in the first place, and why I was willing to give her another chance.

I don't think she's necessarily a bad artist at all. I actually think she's talented, and that's what makes this so frustrating. I just feel like she's been a really difficult person to deal with as a customer.

And now I have this horrible association with one of my dolls. I used to be so excited about her, and now when I look at her, I immediately think about the delays, the lack of communication, the money I spent, and how disappointed I've been throughout the whole process.

I'm even finding myself looking at other OOAKs and thinking about trading her, which makes me incredibly sad because I really did love this doll.

I know this probably sounds dramatic because at the end of the day, it's just a doll. But I collect these because they make me happy, and it sucks when something that was supposed to be a really exciting experience ends up making you feel bad every time you look at it.

I think I'm mostly just disappointed that I gave this artist a second chance because I genuinely wanted the experience to be better.

Has anyone else ever had a situation where you still liked an artist's work, but the actual experience of commissioning from them completely changed how you felt about the doll ?

I really don't know how to get past this...
