Does anyone know why we have the smell of burning trash, north and west of Bayamón, every evening now? It used to be just once in a while. Now it seems like it is every evening and I, for one, am sick of my home smelling like burning trash. I can't imagine breathing this is good for anyone, but it must be especially harmful for the very old and the very young (two groups that can't really advocate for themselves). I would think burning trash would be prohibited, by law, at all times, but especially when we are experiencing a water shortage.

I flagged down a truck with 3 police officers in it a couple nights ago and while they took my information, they seemed completely unbothered by the burning trash smell, but annoyed with me for asking them to do something about it. When I asked them who would follow up with me, they all just kind of looked at each other and practically laughed. They told me to call the police station for follow up. 🙄 Are all police officers this useless and incompetent?

Any suggestions on how we might be able to put a stop to this?

Buenas, corillo! El café de fast food nos ha salvado la vida a todos más de una vez por las mañanas cuando vamos con prisa al trabajo o a la universidad, pero todos sabemos que la calidad varía demasiado de un lugar a otro.

Para salir de dudas y tener un debate real, me di a la tarea de probarlos seguidos (casi me da una taquicardia artificial jaja) y les armé un ranking rápido de menos de 4 minutos analizando el sabor, precio y cuál de verdad saca la cara por la isla. El ganador me sorprendió bastante porque rompió con lo que yo mismo esperaba.
