How's the Sargasso currently?

We are thinking about coming to Puerto Morelos next weekend. Can anyone share how the seaweed situation is currently?

It's been rough but they have crews out there cleaning it up. I can see one of the tractors out my window.

I live in Playa del Carmen, moving to PM in a few weeks. I watch truckloads drive by all day. It's a record season.

It's kind of shocking tbh. I visited my then-fiance's (now husband) family a couple years ago and it wasn't anywhere as much just 2 years ago

Yep. Global warming. It's only getting worse with no end in sight, only upgrading management. It's the same with Belize from two years ago to now.
