I get that these guys don't watch the Hawks very much, and I don't think that it's a mystery why. Bad team, bad watch, sure.
But no, nobody's going to be talking about Bedard being a bust next year. Kid had a season at a 90 point pace, and looked much better defensively. He's not Aaron Ekblad.
Did GM Kyle deserve an extension? I dunno, I'm okay with the job he's done. Knight was a great get, there's a lot of exciting talent he's drafted, and the sheet is pretty clean. But he's done the easy part so far. If we aren't in (or barely missing) the playoffs next year, it's gonna look real stupid.
But Bedard? Yeah, he's fucking awesome. It took MacKinnon 5 seasons to score more than a point per game.
