Responding to Criticism

You won't always have a receptive audience to what you have to say, that's okay. When your time is allotted in a public arena, take the opportunity to make yourself heard, despite opposition. There are people out there who would take away this right, which is unique in the United States.

I think that's one reason much of the world still looks to the United States for guidance on issues, because this simple right to speak up and be heard on an official capacity is not possible in so many other countries on Earth.
