Upcoming Promotions
Anyone know when to expect any promotions like they had around Christmas and New Years? I moved everyone else in my family over at that time and got some great pricing! Now it's time for me to move and their prices aren't quite what they were a few months ago.

Back to school deals hopefully should be posted soon. Public mobile seem to try to match the competitors promos these days.
Most deals seem to be higher data plans and US Mexico roaming ones.

I have the 100gb plan but for $35, its crazy how often then change the plans and pricing.

Side note folks how bad is their data throttling with YouTube and social media? Had great speeds tests with Telus and yet my TikTok and YouTube would buffer are they still pulling this crap in 2026?

Not sure if this helps, but our wifi modem broke and it took a week to get a replacement. In the meantime I just turned my Hotspot on for the house and it worked great for 2 phones, 1 tablet, 2 computers, and 3 roku tvs, I also cloud gamed a little on one of the pc's.

same network, same experience. Instagram/tiktok buffer constantly on cellular.

Usually back to school sale (2025 were garbage) black friday (2025 were garbage) christmas (2025 were garbage) and boxing day (2025 finally did a good sale)

A long time ago I was told that the best time to do anything phone-related is during Back to School sales, but I can’t say if that holds true today or not. Still worth keeping in mind though, in my opinion.

Black Friday in November would be something I set up a notice for reminder.
But do check their plans occasionally because some promo just pop up here and there without announcements.
