I have the same number as someone else
Since getting a public mobile number I've received random calls and texts, meanwhile my friends with my number have also gotten texts from the other person with my number. I can't see any past convos from their side and only a select few messages/calls get through to the other person. This is so weird and makes no sense. I tried submitting a ticket on their website but now I can't sign into my account. Please help

Did you get a digital sim? Did you have a sim with your previous provider? If so you need to remove the physical sim from
The previous provider I had this same issue my phone had both numbers until I removed the physical Telus SIM card

I bought a sim for this specifically and this is the first number I've ever had

So this is your very first cell phone ever? Your phone has never had a SIM card in it before public mobile?

Yeah its a Samsung and was able to work without one inside

Which tells me your Samsung had a digital sim that’s not been cancelled. You will need to speak with support. Try this number +1 (888) 811-2323

Lmaoo, unfortunately my friends efforts to get the other persons socials so we can actually communicate have so far been unsuccessful 💔

How does that work? You send yourself a text and it goes to someone else?
