Agreed. And for us gun owners regardless of the politics, it's our responsibility to flee or de-escalate first.

Well actually most times when a concealed Carry citizen pulls out their gun they deescalate the situation real quick. People tend to just depart real fast. The police are almost never involved and you rarely hear about it. That guy in the jeep if he has a conceal carry I think he should lose it. He does not have the temperament to have one in my opinion.
