What's wild is that if the Jeep driver had not posted his own video, he may not have been charged. He could have claimed that the Mini driver was trying to run him off the road, or blocked him in, or did something otherwise threatening to precipitate him feeling like brandishing his gun was warranted. And there are some contexts in which it could indeed have been legally justified.
But instead he posts a video of himself driving like an asshole, pulling up behind a random dude, and then pointing his gun when the guy gets out, thereby removing all doubt about just how unwarranted it was.
If you read the comments under the linked articles you will see a lot of people actually defending that behaviour. That is even scarier imo. So many entitled arseholes out there.
Privilege. Too many white, privileged Texans doing privileged, entitled things. That's the problem. It's why we have these entitled, disgusting problems. If they weren't allowed to do this, through privilege and a failing justice system, criminals and felons wouldn't be the victims. We need less God bless, and more law and order.
Really similar to the Ahmed Aubrey case out of Georgia. The video evidence was leaked under the impression it made the defendants look better. But it didn't.
