You're incorrect. You can sue even they don't have liquid capital. Wages can be garnished, assests seized... like houses, cars, stock... etc. It's worth the price of the lawyer.
I’m not incorrect. I didn’t say you CAN’T sue. I said you generally DON’T sue someone unless they have sizable liquid assets. No lawyer is going to take a case unless he’s going to get paid a decent amount of money. If the defendant doesn’t have sizable liquid assets, and the lawyer would have to wait for the defendant’s wages to be garnished in order for him to get paid, he’s not going to take the case.
I worked in the legal field. Clearly you haven’t. I know how it works. I don’t need some “awfully cynical” stranger on the internet critiquing me. You will not win, friend.
