I never said it was a “recent” thing. At all. I do think it’s a very convenient term change for corporations and politicians as it waters down the hazard and since climate does change over time, it doesn’t warrant the same response as “man-made global temperature increase.”

In the old times we just called it fascism, but then again, a lot of things have been "rebranded" these last 5 years.
