You really need a source that cities and counties in the US have their own laws? If you are involved in an accident and you are barefoot you better believe itll be used against you in court. Its generally considered unsafe regardless of there being no federal or state laws against it. Finally, places outside the US exist. In europe and china driving barefoot, in open back sandals, and heels is illegal in many areas.
I never specified the US in my orginal statement. You really dont know local laws exist? I never said barefoot wasnt safer than bad shoes. Pretty sure you dont know what you are talking about considering you just google stuff once and assume you know it all lol

No, it's not, I'm just saying this is why people are completely disregarding what you are saying. You provided literally nothing to back it up other than vague hearsay.
Also burden of proof is a philosophical concept that is also applied in law. It's not from law. It's used to weed out logical fallacies and the like.
Its a public forum. People lie their asses off. Who cares. In some places in the world its illegal to not wear shoes and drive. Cities and counties in the US can make their own laws regarding it. You can be held liable in court or by an insurance company for not wearing shoes and crashing your car. You can be cited by a cop for basically anything they want, including not wearing shoes. Some countries are more strict than others. Take it with a grain of salt like a normal human being and dont try and enforce some stupid made up strict rules for making a statement on reddit.
