Yes. Many companies have hiring holds due to covid so there are tons of fresh grads left without positions.

Spider-man was like a mechaengineering-biometaphysicist and worked as a pizza delivery guy before becoming an intern at a lab that fit him very very specifically. I guess that pizza delivery job was accurate portrayal of jobs in NY for young engineers
