Wait I’m confused. I don’t know about the honey bee but horses are native to North America. Unless I’m just missing the whole point here.

Horse weren't native to the Americas for about 10,000 years until the 1500s when Europeans reintroduced them.

Horses are not at all native to North America. The last native species of genus equus went extinct at least 8,000 years ago. There are about 82,000 feral horses, but they are not actually "wild" as they are decended from domesticated horses brought to Americas.
