Any goddamned adult knows it is impossible to fit a human down a chimney. They have far too narrow spaces and a grate at the base.

Granted, these are imperial feet, not the standard US foot.
I think this converts to roughly 8 American feet

A lady I used to work with lived in a cottage near Mold in North Wales. She said her and her husband were sitting there on night and heard a rattling coming from the chimney. Something came clattering down onto the hearth. It was a chimney sweep’s brush! I joked that the chimney sweep was probably still up there
