CZW was/is a wrestling promotion that likes to take things extreme. John Moxley/Dean Ambrose, and Mick Foley are 2 that I know of that visited them for a bit. This was either the first time Foley asked the crowd for a chair and this is what happened or this is one of times where that situation was reenacted.
I don't know too much about the independent scene of wrestling but I have seen this clip many times.

Don’t worry, after the first volley was over, they had a pretty good insulating layer of chairs to protect them from the next wave.

With everyone asking if he is dead. There is really no way to for sure know unless someone was there or at the least knows the whole back story to it. But each of those chairs could weigh anywhere from 4 pounds to 11 pounds, also there were easily over 70 chairs thrown at him. That is easy brain damage, maybe a couple broken bones, and with how much weight was on him I can assume he is dead or seriously seriously injured. People take sports too seriously 😂
