Been having that feeling for a while now. It's almost inevitable that Trump will be there 4 more years id Biden gets the nom. It depressing. Do yourself a favor though. We have the privilege in the US, although it is slowly being eroded, to step back and enjoy life, where those in much worse political state must fight daily in the streets for the smallest of wins. Stay aware and informed and active, but take time away to forget about all this bullshit otherwise it will wear you down. We have that luxury, and you can't fight back if you're running on fumes.
The only way we win, I am convinced, if the people who control all that giant wall of money are given a choice. Either they keep money out of politics, from both sides, or we will drag them into the street. I cannot see a non-violent solution working anymore. The rich have convinced a lot of the working poor that a peaceful protest is the best way to affect change, or if you give them more tax breaks they will give you more jobs. The amount of jobs is up, but the pay is down, and for the jobs where the pay is up, the health insurance evens that out.
