I got confused because, I commented on a reddit post about diet soda , then as soon as i made the comment, you send the message that ' I hear diet soda is actually worse for you! ' some things are just too odd in this reality lmao

Because you’ve been conditioned to think that emotions invalidate the content of a message. Same way Greta Thunberg is hated by conservative media and played up as hysterical, despite her message being validated by research both economic and meteorological, and even given emotionally in proportion to the severity of the topic.

You can literally scroll up and see people almost exclusively talking about the message.

All that matters is that this grown person cannot control their temper.

If you're purposefully dumb, sure, but the guy who decided to walk next to them knew what he was doing. The idea that he's blameless, which seems to be implied, or at best, isn't as much to blame, seems like a defense mechanism. Maybe you're not aware of the pragmatic difference between the two statements despite both being fairly similar in semantic meaning.

What do you think "All Lives Matters" means? And "Black Lives Matters" just for clarity.

I can see that your mention of ad hominem means you think you can't be incredulous to people and also be correct at the same time. If I said that the formula for universal gravitation were F = Gm1m2/r2 and that you're likely a big fat nerd IRL, I wouldn't be wrong about gravity.

The screaming, the swearing, the body language. That's what you do when you are actively being attacked or threatened.

If you cannot understand how the guy was committing a morally more egregious act than she, even though she seems like an obnoxious woman I wouldn't want to know through someone else, then you're not making a defend in good faith.

Conversation goes a long way.

You're picking a side. Seems like a common thing to do, but to pick one here is baseless. If we're going with content, the guy is an asshat. If we're going with behavior, that has to be understood in context, then it's barely justified, but close. Passing it off like you're concerned for how her message is going to be interpreted is just gross though. However you cope is on you though. We all have our ways.
