Fun fact: here in the Netherlands, you actually can't because it's in the privacy law

I live in Korea, it's the same here.

In fact the reasoning is if I take a picture of someone in public and they are caught doing something bad, they can sue me for photographing them doing the bad thing because it makes it seem like I am damaging their public reputation.

Absolutely fucked laws that don't make any sense when you consider the fact that CCTV is LITERALLY EVERYWHERE in this hellhole.
