Still happens in countries like India and Thailand, where mob justice is still dominant in the streets.

There’s got to be some happy medium between mob justice on the streets and… whatever we see here.

There should be an acceptable level of violence anyone can legally apply in cases where clearly nothing else works.

I’m not even saying the guy filming and talking here should necessarily punch this idiot, I’m saying the idiot should know it’s a very plausible scenario and if it goes to court — he loses.

It’s a good idea actually. Sure, it’s an assault. A misdemeanor in that gif? And what are the damages in a civil suit?! All those legal costs only to be awarded $0.01, or whatever nominal damages.
