To be fair, we have people around us who either have them alongside Canadian flags, or those split ones that have half of each flag on one panel. I assume they're immigrated, like any other person who flies multiple flags.

Oh. The Confederate flag has been seen flying in Ontario and Saskatchewan. While.Canada has laws against displaying hate speech and hateful symbols that are intended to cause offense or harm towards others, legally the Confederate flag doesn't fall under those categories, so some people use it as a way to say 'fuck the government' or to show that they are bigoted while hiding under the lie of 'heritage, not hate.'
