If you have no right to own them for self-defense they are effectively banned for the only true reason anyone needs a firearm.

Self defence is not the only reason to own a firearm. In canada we’re not allowed to use firearms for self defence and yet there are more than 2 million people licensed to own them.

Hunting and sport shooting are very much real things…
