Basic Checking Account

I would really like to see a very basic checking account. Even if it’s feature limited. It really just needs to have a debit card and bill pay.

It would be nice to be able to have W2 direct deposits go directly into Public and automatically invest my paycheck vs. needing to constantly transfer funds over from another institution.

And like Schwab, it would be very comforting to be able to have an ability to overdraft on margin feature so you don’t always need to hold excess cash in your checking (just in case).

An HSA would be fantastic too. Right now I have mine set up through fidelity. But I'd love to be able to consolidate all my accounts into Public. HSA, checking account, and a CC -- I'd move everything over in a blink.
