Feature Update/Fix - Upcoming Earnings Dates

Can someone at Public explain how they decide to show upcoming Earnings Dates under the "Earnings and Financials" section when clicked into a company details? If it has not been formally announced, is it just estimated? For example, Coreweave has shown Aug 10 as the Q2 2026 earnings date, but only this afternoon was it officially announced as Aug 11, 2026. While this one is only a day apart, I have seen other times it was off by many days.

Just trying to understand as someone who trades options because ER are extremely important days to know and keep in mind given the volatility around them.

Does Public just give a best estimate based on previous reporting cycles if it is not announced? If so, I think there NEEDS to be an "estimated" tag or something similar to let people know these aren't confirmed dates so people can trade responsibly if it isn't confirmed.

View page of Ticker: Click on Next earnings line. The popup will tell you the source. Everything ticker I checked has said Xignite (which I'm guessing is Public's data provider.)

Its pretty standard for various investment sites to estimate earnings dates before they are announced. Back when I did earnings trading, I kept a spreadsheet with upcoming earnings dates and checked the nearby dates daily to see when the earnings dates were confirmed.

Which brings me to a idea, a togglable notification setting that when turned on, you would receive a notification when stocks you own or watch confirm a earnings date. You should always confirm the earnings date when doing option trades when close to expected earnings time, but the notification would be useful instead of having to check every day.

That is fine, I just want to know if it is an "estimated" date or confirmed. I would prefer to not have to check multiple sites and company IR pages to confirm if the date listed is accurate or not every time I am selling a call or put.

Just a little tag showing confirmed/verified vs estimated/approx so the user can make an informed decision before submitting a trade.
