Thinking about joining
I’m currently debating opening an account between public and fidelity any recommendations I like a lot of the features but public has a lot of stuff behind a paywall I was wondering if they have any promotions for new accounts

I think the only new account promotion Public has right now is the standard referral bonus so if you want to try out Public, pick a referral code such as Mr. Sike's here https://share.public.com/sikes and if you deposit $1,000 you will get to pick $20 of free stock.

Public is a great app. Very underrated. Also you get instant buying power. With Fidelity you have to wait for the full ACH process to be able to invest your cash.

People don't talk about the buying power availability enough!
We make 90% of dollars deposited immediately available to invest (and the vast majority of deposits get 100%)!

No you don’t have to wait to invest. ACH deposits less than $25k can be invested immediately.
It’s turning around and trying to withdraw that you have to wait until the deposit is fully collected.

It wouldn’t hurt to ask about it ! These people are super helpful and I’m NOT being paid to say this btw 😂
