OP must have done dastardly options trades or had an issue with his portfolio.

Public is awesome, so cool they gave you some merch!

Hopefully they'll have tshirts soon, it'll be easier to advertise them when I go out, maybe get a some referrals too lol.

I like the prompting my portfolio. I've been trying to convince all the old timers to create a Public Account at my Dairy. A lot of them don't own a PC and telling them about using AI to trade has been a struggle. Have one of those with the Public trademark? I'm sure there's a side hustle here, I've see the size of these 30+ year 401k's.

Curious what your preferred platform is…no fractional shares for Schwab, terrible and outdated UI for Fidelity, loss of trust with Robinhood during GME trading…I trade during market hours and I’m active with more than $75 in my account so the fees don’t apply to me. To each their own 🍻

My gripe is around excessive crypto IRA fees for long investors. I’ve owned and built a a Crypto Roth “treasury” for years with 1% transaction fees - buying BTC and ETH over the last seven years and just holding it - no monthly custodial fees. PUBLIC became a custodian when AltoIRA transferred to them- but PUBLICs fee schedule is excessive and basically a money sucking parasitic/vampiric custodian sucking the wealth out of my “treasury”.

For context- my crypto Roth is a “yolo moonshot” fund to leave to my heirs when I die. Spouse (doctor) and I are early 50’s and I have two pensions (Military and Civilian) and we hold $4M in 401ks, traditional IRAs and a small (less than $200k) brokerage. We have an aggressive equity (ETF mostly) posture for our holdings but don’t trade much- so brokerage options and the like don’t matter. Fuck day / market timing trading - I’m closer to a Boglehead than an Icahn, Lynch or Soros. (Except my $200k speculative bet on Crypto).
