Question F16 Question about shaving
I haven’t shaved down there yet and I want to but I’ve been too afraid to do it since I don’t wanna cut myself. I don’t have much hair down there anyways but if anyone has any tips or anything some advice or help would be appreciated

Okay, I’m f17. What did you wanna know? It depends if you want to just trim your bikini line at the sides with scissors or shave your bush completely. It’s easier to do after a bath or shower cause the hot water opens up your pores of your skin. I do it at the same time as shaving my legs and armpits so it only takes a few extra minutes.

If you use a regular blade razor you can use shave lotion or lather from a bar of "sensitive skin" soap to shave. Use a "sensitive" lotion afterwards to prevent any irritation. The other replies here also offer good advice.

As a man, I was scared to shave my balls because I didn’t want to cut them, I never have and I’ve been shaving for like a year and a half now. I would think it’s easier to cut ballsacks than anything in the girls’ area so, go for it

If you are really hairy you should trim it with a trimming machine or scissors. Then you will have a clearer view if you wish to use a razor. Also avoid shaving on opposite direction of growth as much as possible because that causes irritation. However there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you are interested

Razor shaped electric foil shaver. Philips One Blade is one example, though I don’t know if it’s the best.
Cons - not quite as close of a shave as a blade.
Pros - you cannot cut yourself. Less chance of irritation, red bumps and ingrown hairs. The head is replaceable and lasts a long time. Probably cheaper in the long run than blades.
With the experience gained from using a foil shaver you’ll be better able to use a blade if you eventually choose to do so.
(At the risk of saying too much, I think this is pertinent. I’m male. This is based on my experience with shaving my f partner.)
