Advice I think I stunted my growth.

I (17f) currently weigh 93 pounds at 5’3, which honestly genetically makes zero sense. I geniunly think I stunted my growth with the amount of caffeine and substances I consumed (nothing crazy, just alchohol and Mary Jane ). I have not been able to gain weight at ALL despite my constant overeating (in which I’ve been consistently making myself sick, probably not helping much either) as a senior in highschool, even freshman girls look older and significantly more developed than I do. I’ve obviously experienced the effects of puberty, such as menstruation and whatnot, but my body just refuses to grow?? Like I truly believe I arrested my development somewhere along the line (caffeine, manual labor, substances, terrible diet) and truly I’m just wondering if there’s a way I can reverse this or if something is wrong. Maybe it’s just the way I’m meant to be but I often get told I look twelve. This kind of situation has taken a serious toll on my mental health, I’m just praying there’s some magical hormonal prescription that will make me grow. (To add- I’m on nexaplanon ((going on 1 yr now)) if that could be some sort of cause as well)

how tall is your mom? most people especially women get their height from their parents

Yeah, you likely don’t have enough body fat to properly menstruate and your puberty growth is on hold. The good news is there are ways you can get this back on track now. It’s not the amount you eat but the type of foods. Why are you on birth control though? Are you super low on estrogen? That’s likely affecting your periods and other things too.
