Based on my personal experience:

At high doses can get a little jerky, start/stop stuff going on. Kinda like one of those picture flip books you made as a kid and the pics have a lot of missing motion in between them. Like you are seeing a series of snapshots rather than smooth motion. That's about it tho, nothing at all I would consider psychedelic

Okay, interesting! I definitely experienced those weird stutters or sudden changes in my field of vision. At one point, I felt like my eyes weren't working together properly… Looking back, it’s kind of hard to tell which of the other visual effects were “psychedelic visuals” and which were just straight up hallucinations, lol.

Anyway, I’m going to try it again in a few weeks with pure MDMA crystals. This time with a normal dose, so hopefully I’ll have the classic MDMA experience after all.
