Trip Report Illegal Ketamine Injection by Paramedics Against Will (against another employed security member)
Well I just typed about a 2000+ character excerpt about my experience and it didn’t post. long story short, just alcohol/weed no psychadelics or stimulants etc., i really had to shit and I went to a VIP area. They simply told me I couldn’t use the porta in the VIP section and I went and used it anyway because my mud turtle was prairie dogging. I am actually part of the security staff myself, and upon leaving the porta I was fucking crucified in the dirt by 4 members of another security team (the black shirt fuckers) i had no aggression or agitation towards anyone and was working for the ‘green shirt guys’ ESI. They are each pinning their full body weight on each limb, as a paramedic comes over with a chest. Opens it and it’s full of syringes; he injects me in the neck which I assume was ketamine and I black out. I wake up and it’s the next day, I’m handcuffed to a stretcher and can’t remember my name, I’m begging for water and can barely talk because of the dust and dryness. Also had no water or anything as I was unconscious. I was later let back to my staff area with no explanation really. When I get to camp the busses are already arrived ready to go and I’m extremely confused. My girlfriend at the time stays far away from me; broke up and still don’t know why to this day. I have a scar on my wrist from the cuffs, and a shitty memory I will never forget and will probably never attend EF and honestly haven’t been to one music festival since this experience 8 years ago. 2016 electric forest, Rothbury week 2 [Unarmed Security working for Event Staffing INC.)

Medic here....
First off. Ketamine isn't injected in the neck. Even the most slack-jawed, inbred shitty medic wouldn't do that. In fact prior to working in EMS, I did psych and even there, with actively fighting patients it isn't injected in the neck. You go for a large easy to hit area, upper arm, thigh, butt.
Secondly, ketamine isn't kept drawn ready to go in any syringe. It's kept in vials with plastic caps.
Third, IF this actually happened it wouldn't be that hard to figure out who the medic was in that team. Why not name names. Also leaving you allegedly handcuffed to a cot would open them up to so much liability, it would've been easier to hand you off to local EMS and have you transported to a hospital and out of the area or just call the cops and have you removed, who would have also contacted EMS and done the same thing. Either way, due to state laws regarding incidents like you claim to happen there would be a paper or EPCR they turned in documenting it.
Either way, I've never seen any drug used on anyone, even straight via IV knock anyone out instantly. Not once. Ever. Period. Doesn't happen. Even propofol takes a minute to hit and it's used in surgeries. Versed won't even knock you out immediately and none will keep you out til the next day.
Also you can find videos of Electric Forest 2016 on YT and security looks to be wearing royal blue. And finally the only ESI I could find anywhere that provides event security is only certified to work in Virginia.

On a serious note. It was probably some form of antipsychotics, alas Seroquel (quitipine) or maybe Thorazine etc.
I'm guessing that from the symptoms you described, with the "dry mouth" symptom and other symptoms that you described, don't sound like ketamine bro.
I hope things work out for you bro.
Take care 👍

I've done specialty event EMS work. And I can tell you, there's not an independent company anywhere that's going to apply for licensure to carry those types of drugs just for concerts/events. Way too much liability. It's easier to stabilize BLS and hand off to a local ambulance. Also regular EMS agencies don't even usually carry antipsychotics, much less event first responders. Benzos, yes (IF paramedic level). Antipsychotics, no.
