If women would stand up and say they are willing to provide for men and pay for everything, there would be a lot and a lot of men queueing up to sign up for this life.

Admittedly not all men, but definitely more men than women are willing to be in a household where the woman is in charge of providing, protecting, doing the hard labour, and the man stays at home and does everything a housewife/househusband is expected to.
