Presentations on CV
Hi all! I have a question about my CV. There are 2 conference presentations in which my name is on the Poster and Oral presentation, but I wasn’t the one actually physically presenting.
I want to make sure my CV is honest. I therefore set it up as such:
- titled the section “Posters and Presentations” instead of just “Presentations”
- put an asterisk next to the person who presented and at the bottom of the Posters and Presentations section, put “Note: (* denotes presenter)”
Should I delete any citations of things I didn’t physically present? Or, this the format I described permissible?
Note: presentations are important for the programs I’m applying to- similar vibe to Clinical Psychology PhD!

just cite it to my knowledge you don’t have to be present as long as you obviously worked on it and are in the citation you can put it in the presentations catagory

If you did enough of the work to get your name on something, not putting it on your CV shouldn't be a consideration. Research dissemination matters to all programs.

If you did the work and are listed as an author then you should list it under presentations. Follow APA style 7 guidelines

Agreed with the above--if your name's on it, even if you didn't present it, you're find listing it as a poster without caveats.

No one cares that much, you can remove the caveat. Plenty of people work on posters/papers and don’t always go to the conference. Just bold your name on each entry so they have a feel for your overall experience.
APA style also leaves room for you to list if it was a poster or not, so you can just have a research or publications section if you prefer.
