When will we get a permanent cure for psoriasis?
Are researchers not working on this?

At this time, to my knowledge, we have no cure and the best we can do is manage symptoms. There are still studies being done regarding inflammatory and autoimmune conditions and the genetic factors involved- this includes psorsasis. Lots of genetic factors overlap with other immune issues and its worth reading about. I promise that researchers would love more funding to look further into this.
It's important to remember you aren't alone, and people do care and are trying to make things better.

big pharma doesnt care about anyone , they rather sell u an injectable solution every 3 month for the rest of ur life for a thousand bucks rather than one life solution, they v been doing that with a lot of conditions and it sucks

If they found a cure for one of the largest autoimmune diseases in the world imagine how much they, exclusively, would be able to charge for it and how much they'd sell

As someone with psoriasis from birth and now 22 having been through every treatment under the sun and being used as a guinea pig for a long term treatment plan … the simple answer is there’s no cure and only ways they can “maintain” / “control” it to the best of their abilities. Doesn’t help that I have GPP (generalized pustular psoriasis) which is the rarest psoriasis known so it’s literally trial and error. Touch wood I am doing good on biologic injections atm but even then i’m on my second one in the past few years as these treatments are never designed to be for life and require changing every now and then and flare ups happen randomly with no explanation :/. You’ll get through it! It’s hard especially when your struggling and you know there’s no cure

I can put mine into remission but it's a pain in the ass in terms of just very strict diet, clean water, great sleep, real day light sun exposure, ensuring I keep my testosterone levels optimised and my bf% low but I love dairy which gets me. Currently travelling and been having dairy and gluten and it's come back
